- Make him his favorite meal at home! On Father’s Day restaurants are usually packed. Skip all the hustle and bustle and have a nice meal at home. You will also save money by eating in. - Complete that dreadful task that has been hanging over his head. Dad is busy all year long. Show him that you really appreciate him by doing something for him that shows your gratitude, rather than just buying something. For example, wash his car for him, dry it and vacuum it out. This saves dad money and you money as well – all you have to do is give your time!
