Savings in the Month of June

June is National Dairy Month! National Dairy Month was created to remind people how important milk and other dairy products are for our health. Be on the lookout for sales and specials on dairy products – check out your local grocery stores to see which are participating!

And don’t forget that you can take advantage of these savings even more by buying in bulk and freezing! Read this article on what dairy items are ok to freeze for a later use! Milk, cheese and butter are the most common.

Sign up for a Winn Dixie card! The savings are great! I’ve had mine for years now, probably 5, maybe 10 years. There is a Winn Dixie right by the house – it is convenient and I have my card. I have saved over $1,500 total. This is also great with larger families. The larger your family, the more groceries you buy and the more you have to save!

Albertsons is honoring National Dairy Month by offering a special of $5 off your next shopping trip when you buy 5 or more dairy products (I believe you might have to have an Albertson’s preferred card). Also, the dairy products are priced lower for this month as well! It’s like double savings!
